Botswana National Day
On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of Botswana as you celebrate 60 years of independence.
This milestone anniversary is a testament to Botswana’s democratic traditions and the resilience of the Batswana people. The United States is proud to stand alongside Botswana as a trusted partner, from our continued collaboration on public health through initiatives that have improved the lives of countless Batswana to new efforts to expand trade and investment that create jobs and opportunity for both nations. We look forward to deepening this partnership in the years ahead as we work together to unlock Botswana’s economic potential.
