On behalf of the United States of America, I extend my warm congratulations to the people of the Kyrgyz Republic as they celebrate 35 years of independence on August 31.
The United States and the Kyrgyz Republic continue to strengthen our bilateral relationship, with a focus on expanding commercial ties, advancing regional connectivity, and promoting security. Through the C5+1 platform, we work with the Kyrgyz Republic to advance regional cooperation and achieve shared economic, energy, and security goals.
As the Kyrgyz Republic celebrates this important milestone, the United States looks forward to building on our partnership and supporting a more connected, secure, and prosperous Central Asia.
