On behalf of the United States of America, I extend my warmest congratulations to President Rodrigo Paz and the people of Bolivia on the occasion of your 201st Independence Day.
This is the first Bolivian Independence Day in nearly two decades in which the United States and Bolivia can celebrate a truly renewed partnership. Together, we are deepening our cooperation to bring security and prosperity to both our nations. Bolivia’s founding membership in the Shield of the Americas is a testament to the trust and shared values that define our new relationship.
The Trump Administration stands with the freedom-loving Bolivian people, and under President Paz’s leadership, we remain committed to working with Bolivia for a safer and stronger Western Hemisphere.
