On behalf of the Government of the United States of America, I extend my best wishes to the people of Colombia as you celebrate your Independence Day.
The United States values its enduring partnership with the Colombian people and is committed to advancing security, prosperity, and opportunity across our hemisphere. We look forward to expanding our partnership and writing a new chapter under the leadership of President Elect Abelardo De La Espriella.
