On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people and Government of Djibouti on the 48th anniversary of their nation’s independence.
The enduring friendship between the United States and Djibouti has been a cornerstone of our mutual efforts to promote security and economic development in the region. We deeply appreciate Djibouti’s contributions to regional stability and its efforts to realize our shared vision of a peaceful and prosperous Horn of Africa.
